STROKE

A stroke is a type of brain injury. Symptoms depend on the part of the brain that is affected.

Some risk factors cannot be changed, but others such as high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, obesity and heart disease can be controlled to some extent. Eating a healthy, balanced diet plays an important part in this.
