STIR FRY MEALS


Easy Vegetable Stir- fry

(Serves 4)
 

Ingredients
 
1 small head broccoli - 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 red pepper - 1 tablespoon cornflour
2 courgettes - 5 tablespoons water
2 carrots - 1 clove garlic, chopped
½ small red cabbage - 1 teaspoons grated ginger
handful of green beans - 2 dessetspoons soy sauce
 

Method


 
  1. Wash the vegetables and cut into thin strips.
     
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan over a high heat.
     
  3. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
     
  4. Blend the cornflour with the water in a small bowl and stir in the ginger and the garlic.
     
  5. Add to the pan and stir for 2-3 minutes, then add the soy sauce and mix well.
     
  6. Serve immediately with rice or noodles (cook according to the instructions on the packet).
