Boiled Rice

Ingredients
 
125g (4oz) long grain white rice
300ml (½pint) boiling water

Method


 
  1. Place the rice in a large casserole dish with the boiling water.
     
  2. Cover with vented clingfilm or a loose fitted lid and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
     
  3. Reduce power to medium and microwave for 8 minutes stirring 2-3 times during cooking.
     
  4. Stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
