COOKING WITH YOUR MICROWAVE
Boiled Rice

Ingredients
125g (4oz) long grain white rice
300ml (½pint) boiling water
Method
- Place the rice in a large casserole dish with the boiling water.
- Cover with vented clingfilm or a loose fitted lid and microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
- Reduce power to medium and microwave for 8 minutes stirring 2-3 times during cooking.
- Stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
