Liver and Bacon Savoury


Serves 2
 
Ingredients
 
225g (8oz) liver, sliced and soaked in milk for one hour
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
1 x 230g (9oz) tin of tomatoes
2 rashers of rindless bacon, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Method


 
  1. Drain the milk from the liver.
     
  2. Place the sunflower oil and onion in a casserole dish.
     
  3. Cover and cook on full power for 3 minutes.
     
  4. Add the drained liver, salt and pepper, bacon, tomatoes and their juices.
     
  5. Cover and cook for 8 minutes, stir well. Continue cooking for a further 7 minutes or until liver is cooked.
     
  6. Stand (covered) for 4-5 minutes.
