ALCOHOL
Although a glass of wine with a meal or a drink with friends can be an enjoyable activity, too much alcohol can damage your health and be the cause of accidents. Alcohol can also cause loss of balance and increase the risk of falling resulting in injury and broken bones.
Keep drinking within safe limits by :-
- Drinking no more than 3 or 4 units a day if you are a man or 2 to 3 if you are a woman.
- Keep at least one or two days a week alcohol free
- Check with your doctor that it is safe to drink with any medication you are taking.
- Do not drink and drive
